Homestudy, Part 2 Today!

December 23, 2009

Our social worker that’s doing our homestudy is coming today at 1 to do the last interviews and make sure our home is safe for children.  (I won’t tell her about the guns and drugs we keep hidden in their toy boxes.)

We REALLY like our social worker for this phase of the journey.  (She just does the homestudy and then we go through our agency for the rest of the process.)  After she finishes the interviews, it takes her a couple of weeks to actually write the homestudy.  At that point we are cleared to move forward with our agency!

Off to clean.  And of course hide the guns and drugs.

    Hi Ashleigh and family,
We wanted to get in contact with you all. We saw your christmas card at our Grandmother’s, ( M. Gore) today and were excited to see you had adopted and were in the process of adopting from Africa.
Email us and we can get in touch. We are moving to Africa in a few weeks and are also in the process of adoption.
    Neat to see God’s providence!

    Merry Christmas!
    James Ryan and Megan Williamson
