Matched

WE’VE BEEN MATCHED!

Ashleigh and I are excited to announce that we have been officially matched with a little girl from Ethiopia.

We would love to show you her photo, but we are not allowed to put her photo on the internet. But we will tell you a few things….

She is from Western Ethiopia, an area called Kamashi. She is now in Addis Ababa, the capital of Ethiopia at the Celebrate Children transitional home. She is three years old, a little younger than Charis, and she is perfectly healthy.

Her Ethiopian name is Abael (A-bah-el). Her English name will be Abigail, which means “Joy of the Father”.

Charis’ name means “grace” and we named her Charis Grace Carroll. We will keep with the double name theme with Abigail as well. Her name will be Abigail Joy Carroll.

We are beyond excited. We look forward to sharing more details soon.

Two things to pray for:

1. All the paperwork to go through smoothly

2. All the finances to be donated soon
