Presenting Abigail Joy Carroll

May 14, 2010

This is one of the first photos we received of Abigail. This is her at her home village in Kamashi, which is in Western Ethiopia near Sudan.

Only two weeks later, this is a photo of Abigail in her transitional home in Addis Ababa, the capitol of Ethiopia. Just a couple weeks of a good diet and running water make a BIG difference.

Our little girl is the same height as Charis and the same weight as Jones. She looks so old in this photo though!

Last month we received photos of our sweet girl. She has a little bit of blue nail polish on her forehead. I love this photo!

We find out in two to three weeks when our embassy date will be. We will likely have our US Embassy Appointment in Ethiopia on Thursday June 17th or Thursday July 1st.

Ashleigh and I will both travel for this trip. We plan to leave on Sunday and come back on Saturday of which ever week our appointment is on.

We still need to raise $3,650 over the next two weeks!

Please help us close this gap. You can give on-line via paypal on the right of this blog or contact us about a direct gift.

Thanks so much for considering.

I know, I am going to have to beat off the boys with a bat!

Absolutely! My son was ‘flirting’ with Charis at the Levitt Shell during the McCracken/Webb concert, and he’s not yet 4. Boys know a good thing when they see it, even from an early age – hah!
